(Terpineol). A mixture of structural isomers in which α-terpineol predominates. It is a colourless, slightly viscous liquid which may deposit crystals; it has a pleasant characteristic odour. Very slightly soluble in water; freely soluble in alcohol (70%); soluble in ether.
