(Cloprostenol Sodium). A white or almost white amorphous hygroscopic powder. Freely soluble in water, in alcohol, and in methyl alcohol; practically insoluble in acetone. Protect from light and moisture.


Cloprostenol is a synthetic analogue of dinoprost (prostaglandin F2). The sodium salt is used as a luteolytic in veterinary medicine.
