(Tyrosine). A white or almost white, crystalline powder or colourless crystals. Very slightly soluble in water; practically insoluble in alcohol. It dissolves in dilute mineral acids and in dilute solutions of alkali hydroxides. Protect from light.

(Tyrosine). White, odourless crystals or crystalline powder. Very slightly soluble in water; insoluble in alcohol and in ether.
