💊 Profile

Cod-liver oil is a rich source of vitamin D and a good source of vitamin A. It also contains several essential fatty acids. Cod-liver oil dressings or ointment have been advocated to accelerate healing in burns, ulcers, pressure sores, and superficial wounds, but controlled observations have failed to substantiate claims of their value.
