💊 Profile

Rebamipide is stated to possess cytoprotective properties and is used in the treatment of peptic ulcer disease and gastritis in usual oral doses of 100 mg three times daily. It has also been used rectally for the treatment of intestinal inflammation. Rebamipide eye drops are under investigation in the treatment of dry eye.
