(Diprenorphine Hydrochloride). A white or almost white crystalline powder. Sparingly soluble in water; slightly soluble in alcohol; very slightly soluble in chloroform; practically insoluble in ether. A 2% solution in water has a pH of 4.5 to 6.0. Protect from light.
