💊 Profile

Azidocillin is a semisynthetic penicillin with actions and uses similar to those of phenoxymethylpenicillin. It is given orally as the sodium salt; doses, expressed in terms of the base, are 750 mg twice daily in the treatment of susceptible infections. The potassium salt has also been used.
